About Project Juris
Project Juris is a student-run research-based legal start-up and initiative that primarily aims to provide legal professionals, students, academicians, and people with the necessary information and knowledge to understand topics of all ranges of comprehensibility and understanding. This initiative aims to build a legal bank and knowledgeable community by providing the necessary details and particulars on the topic from a wide range of possibilities and helping them implement a better understanding of the Law.
About the Paper
Project Juris is inviting submissions under its Call for Paper on contemporary developments around the field of law.
Eligibility
Students of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs, professionals, and academicians are eligible to make their submissions.
Themes
The author can submit their article over any contemporary legal and/or social development if it relates to legal studies.
Submission Guidelines
The following guidelines need to be adhered to while submitting articles and analyses:
- Word Limit:
- Research Paper: 2000-5000 words
- Articles: 1500-2000 words
- Case Analysis and Briefs: 800- 1500 words
- Book Review: 700-1500 words.
- Formatting:
- Font- Times New Roman
- Font Size- 12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins- Defined and all sides must be 2.54cm (normal/default)
- Footnotes/Citation Style: A uniform footnote and citation style should be followed by the authors with relevant sources should be hyperlinked.
- All submissions should be mailed to the provided E-Mail address as mentioned below and it should be accompanied by the following details: Name, E-mail address, Name of Institution, Course, Contact Number, and Academic Year. No reference should be made in the manuscript which will be submitted and it should be provided separately in the mail.
- Co-authorship of a maximum of 3 people is allowed for every category.
- All submissions made should be the original work of the author and the plagiarism limit should be below 30%.
- All the moral rights shall vest with the author and it is suggested that the submission be politically neutral and abuse-free.
- While submitting the manuscript, the author should ensure that the work is not under publication or in consideration for publishing somewhere else.
- The manuscripts should abide by the above-mentioned guidelines and the final discretion of acceptance of the manuscript lies with the Editorial Board.
- Acceptance of submissions will be communicated to the author(s) after being reviewed as per the policy within 14 days of their submission. (The journal follows a double-blind peer-reviewed policy).
How to Submit?
The authors should e-mail the manuscript they wish to be considered for publishing to the e-mail address: projectjuris1@gmail.com.
The manuscript will be screened as per the policies, as mentioned above, and will go through the double-blind peer review process.
The authors, by submitting their entries, will be deemed to have divested the copyright to PJ. However, all moral rights shall remain with the Author(s).
Perks
The author(s) will be provided with a certificate of publication and on two or more submissions within one month, the author will also be eligible for a letter of recommendation.
