About Legal Job Opportunity at Khemka & Associates

Khemka & Associates is looking to hire a Junior Associate (Litigation) to join their team. This role is suited for someone who is serious about building a career in litigation and strengthening their practical fundamentals through hands-on work. You will be involved in matters across courts in Mumbai assisting with research, drafting, filings, and court-related work while working closely with the team.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

1. Attend court hearings and assist with appearances as required.
2. Prepare briefs, lists of dates, and case documentation.
3. Conduct legal research for ongoing matters.
4. Assist with drafting basic applications, affidavits, and pleadings under supervision.
5. Handle court filings and procedural requirements.
6. Support the team with case preparation and related litigation work.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

1. LL.B. degree from a recognized institution
2. Bar Council enrolment and valid Certificate of Practice

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

1. 6 months – 2 years of litigation experience will be appreciated, though motivated freshers are welcome to apply.
2. Familiarity with courts in Mumbai and surrounding jurisdictions.
3. Strong legal research and analytical skills.
4. Clear written and verbal communication.
5. Proficiency in English (Marathi is a plus).
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PDF tools, and e-filing systems.
