Infosys is hiring a Senior/Lead Legal Counsel (inferred) to join the Legal Department and spearhead the global Ethics & Compliance Program from Bengaluru. The role requires highly effective leadership skills, expertise in anti-corruption/anti-bribery regulations (FCPA/UKBA), and the ability to leverage technology to implement and manage the company’s enterprise-wide compliance programs across the entire Infosys Group.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a highly effective and motivated legal team globally (mandatory).
  • Expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments and business models.
  • Deep understanding of digitized systems and processes to implement technology-based compliance solutions.
  • Experience providing opinions on and implementing applicable regulations, especially FCPA/UKBA and other anti-corruption regulations.
  • Exposure and understanding of key compliance regimes (Anti-Bribery, Anti-Trust, Confidentiality).
  • Exposure to Analytics and Automation for risk evaluation/mitigation (added benefit, not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Manage a highly effective team to globally lead the Infosys Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery program.
  • Own, implement & adopt the Infosys Compliance and Integrity Plan (based on seven pillars of effective corporate compliance).
  • Provide opinions on applicable regulations (FCPA/UKBA preferred) including underlying controls and monitoring.
  • Review and improve whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.
  • Handle complaints, investigations, and remediation processes effectively.
  • Provide advice on compliance topics to local stakeholders.
  • Proactively derive policy administration, trainings, and regular communications.
  • Collaborate with various functions (Finance, HR, Sales, Govt. Relations) to assist in Infosys’ expansion agenda.
