About the National Legal Rights Consortium

To build a society where rights, justice and dignity are accessible to all citizens irrespective of social status, gender, or background.

Role of National Vice President

  • Collaborate with the National President and other Consortium leaders to develop and execute a strategic vision for the Consortium.
  • Lead initiatives for advocacy, legal reform, and community outreach, ensuring the Consortium’s goals are met.
    Membership development, policy recommendations, and interface with stakeholders, including government agencies, legal professionals, and the public.
  • Represent the Consortium in high-level discussions and partnerships to advocate for the protection of legal rights.

Eligibility

  • Must be a law student or legal professional with a passion for advocating legal rights and an open mind for contributing to a non-profit organization.
  • Willingness and ability to assist the community 24/7, ensuring continuous support for urgent matters and providing legal assistance when needed.
  • Strong interest in community service, social justice, and public interest law.
  • Ability to take on leadership roles and collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies and legal professionals.
  • Familiarity with legal research, writing, and drafting is an added advantage.
  • A proactive mindset for developing and driving advocacy campaigns, legal reforms, and outreach initiatives.
  • Commitment to dedicating time and effort to NLRC activities, including attending regular meetings and community engagements.
