About Christ’1st Online Law Memorial Drafting Competition
The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa, is organizing the PNYX’26 – 1st Online Memorial Drafting Competition. This competition, which aims to enhance participants’ legal research and analytical skills, requires the submission of memorials by January 5, 2026. The last date for registration is December 15, 2025.

About the Competition
The PNYX’26 – 1st Online Memorial Drafting Competition is an initiative by the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa. The competition is designed to sharpen participants’ skills in legal drafting, research, and critical analysis by engaging them in the preparation of legal memorials for both the Petitioner and the Respondent based on a hypothetical moot proposition. The entire competition will be conducted in online mode.
Eligibility
The competition is open to students from any recognized university who are currently pursuing:
- LL. B. (3-year or 5-year integrated course)
- LL. M. (Post-graduate law course)
Team Composition: Participants may compete as individuals or in teams of two members.
- Cross-institutional teams are permitted.
- There is no limit on the number of teams that may register from the same institution.
- Team composition changes after registration are strictly disallowed without prior approval from the Organizing Committee.

- Release of Problem: November 25, 2025
- Last Date of Seeking Clarifications: December 8, 2025
- Last Date of Registration: December 15, 2025
- Release of Clarifications: December 15, 2025
- Memorial Submission Deadline: January 5, 2026
- Release of Results: January 15, 2026
Registration Fee
The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid exclusively through the CHRIST University web payment portal under Events/Fests – PNYX’26. Participants must upload the payment invoice in the Google registration form.
- Team of Two: ₹499
- Individual Participation: ₹299
Awards
The competition offers a total cash prize of ₹7,500 for the top two teams:
- Winner: ₹5,000
- Runner-Up: ₹2,500
- E-certificates will be awarded to all registered participants.
Submission Details
After successful registration, each team will be assigned a unique Team Code for use in their memorial submission. Memorials must be drafted for both the Petitioner and the Respondent, as per the rules provided in the official brochure.
