About NMIMS
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is one of India’s leading private multidisciplinary universities. Its Kirit P. About International Research Conference 2026
This international conference aims to explore the legal frameworks necessary to address the complexities of a globalized society. Key areas of focus include global governance, climate change, and economic development. The event features an inaugural ceremony on January 30, 2026, followed by two days of paper presentations and discussions. It offers a unique opportunity for emerging scholars to contribute to global legal discourse.
Themes and Sub-themes
The conference is divided into six major themes, though submissions relevant to the general subject are also welcome:
- Criminal Law: Criminal justice reforms, sentencing policies, and the role of forensics.
- IPR, Tech & AI: Regulating emerging technologies, open-source AI, and global digital governance.
- Environmental Law: Climate justice, climate-induced migration, and financing climate action.
- Corporate Law: Cross-border M&As, independent directors, and global corporate liability.
- Human Rights: Geopolitics, gender justice, and refugee rights in a digital age.
- Space and Maritime Law: Security challenges in space, maritime trade, and deep-sea mining.

Awards and Recognition
- First Best Paper: ₹16,000
- Second Best Paper: ₹11,000
- Third Best Paper: ₹8,000
- Best Presenter: ₹5,000
- Internships: Authors of the top 10 papers will be considered for internships with partner organizations.
- Publication: Top 5 papers may be published in an ISSN numbered journal. Selected papers will be included in the conference proceedings with ISBN.
- Certificates: Provided to all participants; Merit certificates for the top 30 presentations.

- Abstract Submission: Presenters must submit an abstract in Word format via the Google Form
- Registration: Selected authors must register and pay via this link.
- Paper/PPT Submission: Full papers and presentations must be uploaded to the respective Google Forms by the deadlines mentioned above.
