About Legal Corporate Internship at Payoneer
Payoneer internship is embedded within the WFM Business Unit, specifically supporting the Skuad group entities across South East Asia (SEA), EMEA, and LATAM. You will not just be looking at Indian law; you will gain massive exposure to multinational entity management and global corporate governance, working directly under the Group Corporate Secretary.
Internship Details
- Position: Corporate Compliance Intern
- Location: Gurugram, India (On-site)
- Mode: Full-time / In-person
- Focus: Global Secretarial Matters & Governance
Key Responsibilities
- Entity Management: Support the Group Corporate Secretary in expansion activities across global jurisdictions.
- Secretarial Guidance: Assist in providing compliance guidance to Boards and Directors.
- Statutory Compliance: Manage filings and reviews under the Companies Act and relevant international regulations.
- Due Diligence: Create and manage virtual data rooms for audits, including access control and coordination.
- Agreement Review: Track shareholder and corporate obligations within legal agreements.
- Governance Standards: Establish and maintain high-level corporate governance practices and monitoring regulatory shifts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Ideally suited for CS (Company Secretary) students or Law students with a strong interest in corporate secretarial work.
- Mindset: An “ownership mindset” with the ability to work autonomously and handle ambiguity.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail and the ability to influence and negotiate across different levels of the organization.
- Technical Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
