Emkay Solutions is hiring a Legal Intern to join its Debt Settlement Team. This is a paid, hands-on, in-office internship offering exposure to client handling and dispute resolution in consumer debt and banking law.
Eligibility Criteria / Qualification
- Education: Must be a 3rd, 4th, or Final Year Law Student.
- Key Skills Needed:
- Strong communication skills.
- Legal drafting proficiency.
- Negotiation and problem-solving mindset.
What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Interact with clients facing loan and debt issues with empathy and clarity.
- Advisory: Suggest legal remedies and settlement options under RBI guidelines.
- Negotiation: Communicate and negotiate with lenders and recovery agents.
- Drafting: Draft legal notices, agreements, and replies to recovery notices.
