About Legal Internship Opportunity at Subway India
Subway India is seeking a Legal Intern to join its Corporate & Real Estate Team for a 2-month, paid, on-site internship in either the Mumbai or Gurugram office.
Eligibility Criteria / Qualification
- Education: Final-year students of an LL.B. or integrated law program, OR Law graduates with an LL.B. degree.
- Interest: Strong interest in corporate, commercial, and real estate law.
- Skills: Good drafting, research, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documentation for new store sites.
- Review and finalise leases and leave & license agreements.
- Coordinate and assist in due diligence exercises and compile findings.
- Conduct case law research and prepare legal summaries.
- Prepare issue lists, provide comments on drafts, and review counterparties’ responses.
- Support the legal team in transactional and compliance documentation.
Duration & Remuneration
- Duration: 2 Months.
- Stipend: As per industry standards (Paid Internship).
