About Legal Internship Opportunity at the CCI
The CCI Legal Internship provides a unique window into the world of antitrust law, mergers & acquisitions (combinations), and market regulations. Interns work directly under the supervision of CCI officers, gaining high-level exposure to the regulatory processes that shape the Indian economy.
Internship Details
- Position: Legal Intern (15 seats available per month)
- Location: New Delhi (Physical / On-site)
- Duration: Normally 1 month (Can be extended to 2–3 months with institutional recommendation).
- Stipend: ₹15,000 per month (Honorarium).
- Application Deadline: Rolling (Applications must reach by the 1st of the preceding month).
Key Responsibilities
- Case Analysis: Supporting analysis of anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, and combinations.
- Legal Research: Conducting research on global competition law policies and market studies.
- Drafting: Assisting mentors in drafting case summaries, legal notes, and analysis reports.
- Regulatory Support: Contributing to ongoing market studies and tracking regulatory developments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian Nationals only.
- 3-Year LL.B.: Students in their 2nd or 3rd year.
- 5-Year LL.B.: Students in their 4th or 5-year (including those entering 4th year).
- Post-Graduation: Current LL.M. students.
- Requirement: Must be from a recognized institution with exposure to Competition Law.
- Exclusion: Students who already hold a placement offer are not eligible.
