BHFL is seeking an experienced Legal Professional to join their Litigation team in Delhi. This on-site role is focused specifically on mortgage enforcement and debt recovery, requiring strong experience with the SARFAESI Act and related drafting.

- Experience Required (PQE): 1+ year (preferably in mortgage industry/NBFC/Bank)

Practice Areas / Focus
- Mortgage Enforcement / Debt Recovery
- SARFAESI Act Compliance and Litigation
- Litigation under Consumer Protection Act, Negotiable Instruments (NI) Act, and Criminal procedures.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year PQE (preferably in the mortgage industry, NBFC, or banking sector).
- Strong understanding of the SARFAESI Act.
- Experience in drafting & vetting 13(2) and 13(4) notices and publications.
- Knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, and Criminal litigation procedures.
- Willingness to collaborate with the collections team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle SARFAESI-related drafting, issuance, and publication of 13(2) & 13(4) notices.
- Support litigation matters under Consumer, NI Act, and criminal jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with external counsel and the collections team.
- Provide legal inputs on mortgage and enforcement matters.
