This role is a unique entry-point for law freshers to specialize in Energy Law and Infrastructure Real Estate, sectors that are seeing unprecedented growth as India targets 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
About Legal Job Opportunity at Dr. Gopal Energy Foundation
- Role: Land Acquisition – Legal (Solar & Wind Projects)
- Location: On-site in Gujarat, Maharashtra, or Rajasthan (India’s primary renewable energy hubs).xperience: 0–1 Year (Freshers are highly encouraged).
- Grade Level: JMC / MMC (Junior/Middle Management Cadre).
Key Responsibilities
You will be at the forefront of securing land for massive solar and wind farms. Your tasks will include:
- Legal Due Diligence: Verifying complex title documents (e.g., 7/12 extracts in Maharashtra or Jamabandi in Rajasthan) to ensure clear and marketable titles.
- Title Search Reports: Preparing 30–40 year continuous chain-of-title reports.
- Drafting & Vetting: Preparing Agreement to Sell (ATS), Lease Deeds (typically for 25–30 years), and Sale Deeds.
- Regulatory Compliance: Navigating the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Policy 2023 or the New Gujarat Land Allotment Policy 2026 for waste/non-perilous land.
- On-Ground Coordination: Supporting negotiations with local landowners and coordinating with the Sub-Registrar’s office for document execution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Experience: Freshers or those with up to 1 year of experience.
- Core Interest: A genuine passion for Land Laws and the Renewable Energy sector.
- Certification (Preferred): Candidates who have completed the “Land Acquisition Laws for Solar Project” online certificate course by DGEF will receive preference.
