About Legal Job Opportunity at Basata
Basata is hiring a legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and manage a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to company operations and partnerships.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to business teams on day-to-day operations, contract interpretation, and compliance matters.
- Lead and support contract negotiations with vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure favorable and compliant terms.
- Ensure all legal documents and agreements comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Identify legal risks and proactively recommend mitigation actions to support business objectives.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized legal records, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and updates.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and ongoing business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- 3–5 years of experience in legal operations, contract management, or a similar role, preferably within fintech or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, compliance, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
