Position
Junior Intellectual Property Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining clients’ Intellectual Property portfolios
- Handling prosecution, opposition, and enforcement matters relating to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and designs
- Drafting and filing trademark, copyright, design, and patent applications
- Preparing and filing prosecution amendments, oppositions, rectifications, and other submissions before the concerned authorities
- Conducting trademark searches and legal research
- Appearing before Registrars / Examiners for hearings
- Drafting pleadings, evidence, legal opinions, and arguments in IP litigation matters
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP agreements and related legal documents
- Managing and organizing legal documents, correspondence, and databases efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Law
- Experience in end-to-end handling of Intellectual Property matters (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Trademark, Copyright, Patent, and Design laws (preferred)
- Experience with international filings will be an added advantage
- Strong legal research and drafting skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools and IT systems
Remuneration
As per industry standards (negotiable for deserving candidates).
