About the Law/Legal Job Opportunity at DLS Law Offices
They are Hiring Junior Associate
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all company laws and regulations, including the Companies Act, 2013.
- Manage the company’s corporate governance and secretarial functions, including preparation and filing of statutory forms, returns, filings with the MCA, secretarial filings and documents with the Registrar of Companies.
- Organize and maintain board meetings, general meetings, and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities such as SEBI, ROC, and Stock Exchanges for compliance and legal matters.
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s interests are protected.
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters related to corporate and commercial law.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated with the latest developments in corporate laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- MANDATORY: Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- OPTIONAL: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, regulatory compliance, and company secretarial practices.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using legal research tools and MS Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Exposure to litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Salary
