About Paid Law Internship Opportunity at Karan Gupta Law Chambers

Karan Gupta Law Chambers is hiring law interns for their Bangalore office.

Eligibility

1. Currently studying law from any recognized university (3-year or 5-year law course);
2. Prior internship experience in disputes/litigation.

Location

Bangalore office – 26, 1st Cross, Magrath Road, Next to Garuda Mall, Bangalore 560025

Available internship slots

1. 15 June 2025 – 31 July 2025
2. 1 July 2025 – 31 July 2025
3. 1 August 2025 – 30 August 2025
4. 1 September 2025 – 30 September 2025

Note

1. Candidates can expect a response to their application four weeks prior to the proposed internship.
2. No part-time or online internship applications will be entertained.
3. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Stipend

1. INR 6,000/- per month for students residing in Bangalore.
2. INR 6,000/- (stipend) + upto INR 6,000/- reimbursement for accommodation costs for students presently residing outside Bangalore.

Nature of work

Research and drafting for various dispute-related matters. Interns are actively encouraged to be part of meetings and take ownership of matters.

Application requirements

1. CV of the candidate, not exceeding three pages
2. A statement of interest not exceeding 300 words on motivation to practice in disputes or as a litigating lawyer; and
3. A short critique/analysis of the judgment of the Supreme Court of India in Gayatri Balasamy Vs ISG Novasoft Technologies Ltd OR M/S Neeharika Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. v. State of Maharashtra (the note must contain a very brief and precise summary of the holding, and focus on an independent analysis/critique).
