Priyanka Chaudhari & Associates is now expanding our team and is on the lookout for an Associate to join their Media and Entertainment team.

Job Description

1. You will be responsible for litigation (civil and criminal), pre-litigation, dispute resolution for all practise areas of PCA legal including Media and Entertainment, Corporate Commercial, Real Estate, Mergers and Acquisition, Music, Technology law, Family Law, Insurance Law etc. This will include court visits as and when required.
2. Transaction related work for all Practise Areas of PCA legal
3. Production clearance and legal review of scripts and content for titles created by our Media and Entertainment clients.
4. Create, maintain and timely update trackers & innovative tools for the work done for various clients.
5. Research and knowledge sharing on new and interesting developments in the legal profession & Media and Entertainment industry.

Eligibility

• Anybody with prior work experience (PQE) in Indian Media and Entertainment industry, real estate, handling, managing and executing litigation matters, intellectual property laws, banking laws, corporate laws, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Information Technology Act and Constitution of India etc. who would be able to undertake the above job responsibilities can apply for this role.

• We would prefer someone with 2-3 years of work experience (PQE), but we respect and applaud merits so the number of years on paper may be lesser if your knowledge speaks for itself!

• You have experience in the day to day working, commerce and business arrangements of the Indian film and media industry, real estate etc and are also willing to work on all fields of law that we practise.
