Fellowship Details
- Position: Constitution Defender Fellow
- Total Vacancies:14 (Pan-India)
- 10 Fellows: From Southern States (Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu).
- 4 Fellows: From the rest of India.
- Duration: 33 months (2.75 years)
- Mode: Litigation-focused, in-person field and court work.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Law graduate enrolled with the State Bar Council.
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience.
- Strong commitment to constitutional rights and social justice.
- Excellent research, drafting, and writing skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in strategic constitutional litigation.
- Provide legal support to marginalized groups.
- Handle human rights and constitutional law matters.
- Conduct legal research, drafting, and case preparation.
- Support advocacy, community outreach, and rights-based initiatives.
