TCS is hiring a Conveyancing Specialist for its Legal/BPO function in Chennai. This on-site, full-time role requires 2–10 years of experience with strong knowledge of Conveyancing, Real Estate Contracts, and Contracts Management. A key requirement is high English Proficiency (IELTS Level 6 or Equivalent minimum), as the role involves collaboration with Australian stakeholders (familiarity with PEXA is a technical plus). The work shift is early morning, aligning with Australian hours.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Graduate in Law (Bachelor’s in law / Master’s in law).
  • Experience: 2–10 years in Conveyancing and handling real estate contracts.
  • Core Skills: In-depth knowledge of conveyancing, contracts management, drafting, lease abstraction, and lease management.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS Level 6 or Equivalent minimum (Reading, Writing, Listening/Speaking) to engage with Australian stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills: Problem-Solving, Interpretation Skills, Process Orientation, Attention to Detail, Resilience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Intermediate Level); Adaptability to platforms like PEXA (Property Exchange Australia), Salesforce, SAP, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on conveyancing and contract management to clients and colleagues.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in transactions, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft clear, well-structured communications, reports, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and manage client expectations throughout the contracts management process.
  • Update daily and monthly reports and trackers, demonstrating strong Data Analysis and Reporting competence.
  • Liaise with various internal teams and serve as a point of contact for the client in the conveyancing process.
