About Organisation
The SMVEC Centre of Legal Education is an initiative of the Sri Manakula Vinayagar Trust, Puducherry. Approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated with Pondicherry University, it is recognized as a pioneering private law school in the region. The institution offers B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B., and 3-year LL.B. programmes, emphasizing ethical legal values and the Rule of Law.
Theme
The competition revolves around critical and contemporary issues in Constitutional Law. Participants will be required to navigate complex legal problems involving:
- Disqualification of legislators.
- President’s Rule and its implications.
- Validity of Article 164(4A) of the Indian Constitution.
Eligibility
- Participation is strictly restricted to bonafide female undergraduate students.
- Candidates must be enrolled in either a 5-year integrated programme or a 3-year regular Law programme at any institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Registration Process
Teams are encouraged to register as soon as possible, as the competition is limited to a maximum of 36 teams on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Hard Copy: A physical copy of the registration form must be sent via post/courier to the college address.
