What You Will Do
As a research intern at a global consultancy, your work will be analytical and academic in nature:
- Global Legal Research: Conducting comparative law research across US and Indian statutes, particularly in areas like Contract Law, Taxation, and Corporate Governance.
- Drafting: Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions, research memos, and briefing notes for senior consultants.
- Literature Review: Monitoring changes in international regulations and summarizing their impact on the firm’s global clients.
- Database Management: Utilizing advanced research tools (like LexisNexis or Westlaw) to retrieve specific case laws and precedents.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Law students (3rd year and above preferred for the 5-year course; 2nd year and above for the 3-year course).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal) and a meticulous approach to citation and referencing.
