Lexport | Advocates and Legal Consultants is hiring an associate with 0-2 years of experience for their Corporate & Commercial Law.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
- 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and service agreements.
- 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆: Provide support on company law matters, compliance requirements, and governance issues.
- 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Conduct legal research and prepare due diligence reports for M&A, joint ventures, and investment transactions.
- 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Track and ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, and regulatory frameworks.
- 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Support senior associates/partners in client meetings, prepare briefing notes, and draft opinions.
- 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻: Coordinate with litigation teams for corporate disputes, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
- 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Maintain precedents, case law updates, and contribute to internal knowledge banks.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
- 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: LL.B. from a recognized university; LL.M. (Corporate/Commercial Law) preferred but not mandatory.
- 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 0–2 years of PQE in corporate/commercial practice (internships or prior associate roles).
𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
- Strong drafting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Companies Act, Contract Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
- Ability to conduct legal research and prepare concise reports.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Team-oriented, with attention to detail and deadlines.
