About the internship
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Internship at Emerge Legal in Indore. The Consultant Intern will assist the attorneys in contract management, drafting, and negotiations. The Consultant Intern will also attend court hearings and assist with other legal matters as needed.
Eligibility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of contract law and legal drafting
- Understanding of Indian laws and regulations
- Experience with Microsoft Office and legal research databases (such as LexisNexis or Westlaw)
- Completion or enrollment in a law degree program is preferred
- Previous internship or work experience in a law firm or legal department is a plus
Roles and responsibilities
The Consultant Intern will be responsible for conducting legal research, summarizing case law, drafting legal documents, and participating in client meetings and calls.
