About the Internship
The objective of the internship is to translate the idea of “SABKA SATH, SABKA VIKAAS, SABKA VISHWAAS, SABKA PRAYAAS” for building India into a self-sustaining nation.
Eligibility
- Women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers from non-tier-I cities and rural parts of India will be eligible for the program.
- Age should be between 21 and 40 years.
- The candidate needs to be enrolled in or associated with any university, academic, or non-academic institution.
Stipend
- Each intern would be provided with a lump sum stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month
- Reimbursement of travel costs (by Deluxe/AC Bus/3 Tier AC Train) for joining the program in the ministry and returning home at the end of the program.
- Hostel facilities are provided to the interns on a sharing basis for the duration of their program in Delhi. (The hostel facility would have basic amenities like triple-sharing accommodation in each room with an attached bathroom, bed, table, chair, and cupboard; a mattress is not included.).
- Mess charges are not included as part of the accommodation.
- The hostel facility would be available from 2 days before the start of the program up to 2 days after the end of the program.
- The interns would be provided with an internship coordinator who would be responsible for coordinating the entire internship exercise.
Duration
The internship program will be available for a period of two months (February 1 to March 29, 2024).
