About Legal Internship Opportunity at ABM Legal

  • Role: Law Intern (Litigation & Arbitration)
  • Location: Trivandrum, Kerala (In-office)
  • Stipend: ₹8,000 – ₹10,000 per month
  • Duration: Minimum 2 months (Commencing Feb 1, 2026)

Scope of Work

This internship is designed to be a “pre-associate” experience. You will not just be observing; you will be contributing to the firm’s active files:

  • Advanced Research: Using Manupatra, SCC Online, and KHC (Kerala High Court cases) to build legal strategies.
  • Drafting: Assisting in the preparation of Plaints, Written Statements, and Arbitration Petitions.
  • Court Attendance: Daily exposure to the Kerala High Court and District Courts to understand procedural nuances.
  • ADR Exposure: Participating in the drafting of arbitration clauses and assisting in ongoing dispute resolution proceedings.

Eligibility & Expectations

ABM Legal is looking for one specific individual who demonstrates a high degree of maturity:

  • Education: Final-year law students or recent graduates awaiting enrolment. (Penultimate-year students with high motivation may apply).
  • Mindset: You must be serious about a career in litigation. This is not a certificate-oriented internship; it is for those who want to eventually secure a full-time association.
  • Independence: Ability to carry out research tasks with minimal supervision.
