About the Legal Internship Opportunity at Kunal Khanna & Co.
Kunal Khanna & Co. is inviting applications for interns interested in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), with a special focus on litigation, counterfeit enforcement, and digital infringement. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-time litigation and enforcement actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing drafts for legal notices, plaints, injunctions, and replies.
Support in counterfeit enforcement: preparing reports, coordinating with Local Commissioners, and collating evidence. - Research case law and statutory provisions under the Trade Marks Act, Copyright Act, and related procedural laws.
Assist in digital infringement matters: e-commerce/social media takedowns, notices, and reports. - Help maintain case files, prepare briefs, and support court hearings.
Provide assistance in day-to-day office functioning and client communications.
Eligibility & Skills
- Law students (preferably in 3rd year onwards for 5-year course or 2nd year onwards for 3-year course).
- Strong interest in Intellectual Property and commercial litigation.
- Good research and drafting skills.
- Professional, punctual, and willing to work full-time from the office.
