About Legal Job Opportunity at Fidus Law Chambers
Fidus Law Chambers is seeking an experienced professional to join its Litigation Team as an Associate to work on complex Intellectual Property (IP) matters.
Experience & Qualification
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a 3-year or 5-year in-person program. (Degrees obtained through correspondence or distance education are ineligible).
- Experience: Three years Post-Qualification Litigation Experience (PQE) in a top-tier Intellectual Property firm.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of Intellectual Property Laws.
- Advocacy: Must have regularly appeared before the Delhi High Court IPD over the last 2 years and have good knowledge of IPD practice and procedure.
- Drafting: Extensive demonstrable experience in drafting plaints, applications, and appeals in IP laws.
- Skills: Excellent writing and speaking skills, strong interpersonal skills, a team player, and strong research skills.
- Technical: Ability to independently create digital paperbooks and e-file applications and pleadings.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently draft legal notices, plaints, applications, and appeals for filing before the Court.
- Attend hearings before the Joint Registrar and the Courts.
- Independently brief senior counsels and Partners of the firm.
- Provide practical and commercially savvy advice to clients and carry out independent client communications.
