About Legal Job Opportunity at GNK Legal
GNK Legal is hiring an experienced professional for the position of Associate — Intellectual Property (IPR Litigation). This is a full-time, on-site role focusing on both IP prosecution and enforcement.
Experience & Qualification
- LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 2–3 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in IP practice, including prosecution and litigation.
- Preferred: Prior experience in IPR litigation and opposition proceedings.
- Skills: Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills; familiarity with court procedures and appearances.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare litigation briefs, pleadings, and evidence.
- Draft and file trademark, copyright, design, and patent applications and replies.
- Handle opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Registry/Tribunal.
- Appear in courts and represent clients in IP litigation (as required).
- Manage client communications, docketing, and filing deadlines.
- Assist in cross-border filings and coordinate with overseas counsels.
