Intepat IP an offering an IP Associate position wherein you will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. The role is designed for professionals who are looking to gain deep, hands-on experience in the lifecycle of intellectual property, from initial clearance searches to international portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Trademarks: Conducting comprehensive trademark searches and providing legal opinions on registrability.
- Drafting & Filing: Preparing and filing applications for trademarks and patents.
- Prosecution: Drafting responses to Examination Reports, handling oppositions, and managing counter-statements.
- Portfolio Management: Managing client IP portfolios and ensuring statutory compliance and docketing.
- Communication: Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and strategic IP advice.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate or Post-Graduate in Law (LL.B./LL.M.), Science, or Engineering. (IP specialization is a plus).
- Experience: While the current call is open to motivated professionals, typically 1+ years of experience in IP services is preferred.
- Skills: * Exceptional drafting and research skills.
- Proficiency with IP databases (e.g., Indian Trademark/Patent Registry, WIPO).
