You will be deeply involved in the firm’s diverse dispute resolution practice, transitioning from back-end research and drafting to front-end court handling and client management.

Job Details

Key Practice Areas

You will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of contentious matters, including:

  • Civil & Commercial: Contractual disputes, recovery suits, and property-related litigation.
  • Real Estate: Matters involving RERA, land acquisition, and builder-buyer disputes.
  • Consumer Law: Representation before Consumer Commissions (State and National).
  • Banking & Finance: SARFAESI proceedings, DRT matters, and negotiable instruments (Sec. 138 NI Act).
  • Criminal Litigation: White-collar crime defense, bails, and matrimonial-related criminal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting: Preparing a high volume of legal documents including Plaints, Written Statements, Replications, Writ Petitions, and Special Leave Petitions (SLPs).
  • Court Handling: Appearing before various judicial forums for admissions, miscellaneous arguments, and assisting senior partners in final hearings.
  • Legal Research: Utilizing databases like SCC Online and Manupatra to prepare detailed research memos on nuanced points of law (e.g., limitation, jurisdictional challenges).
  • Case Management: Maintaining file records, monitoring daily cause lists, and ensuring timely filing of evidence and affidavits.

Eligibility Criteria

  • PQE: 1–3 years of active litigation experience in Delhi-NCR.
  • Skill Set: Proficiency in Legal Research and a command over English drafting (Hindi drafting is often a bonus in Delhi litigation).
  • Soft Skills: Ability to coordinate effectively with court clerks and registry officials.
