About the Internship at Hashiya: Socio-Legal Centre for Women
Hashiya is looking for a committed intern with originality of thought and a genuine interest in prisoners’ rights. The internship will initially be remote and part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to in-person work in Ranchi, Jharkhand, if the engagement proves mutually beneficial.

Eligibility Criteria

- Original thinking and willingness to engage in socio-legal work.

Key Responsibilities / Role
- Assisting with socio-legal research related to prisoners’ and women’s rights.
- Supporting documentation, case studies, and advocacy initiatives.
- Assisting with drafting, outreach, and organisational tasks as assigned.
- Contributing to ongoing projects and campaigns of the organisation.
