About Legal Internship Opportunity at Phoenix Legal
Phoenix Legal is inviting applications for a four-week (one-month) Legal Internship placement at its New Delhi office. The internship offers hands-on exposure to transactional work, research, and drafting across the firm’s wide range of practice areas.
Eligibility Criteria / Qualification
- Must be a student pursuing an LL.B. / law degree from a recognized law school (3-year or 5-year programmes).
- Strong interest in corporate/transactional work, litigation support, research, and drafting.
- Must possess good communication skills, ability to work in teams, professional attitude, and keenness to learn.
Areas of Exposure
The internship offers advisory and transactional experience across many practice areas, including:
- Banking & Finance; Corporate Commercial; M&A; Private Equity & Funds; Project Finance; Real Estate; Regulatory; Tax; Technology, Media & Telecommunication (TMT); and Dispute Resolution, among others.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and commercial research and prepare concise research memos.
- Draft contracts, agreements, notes, and basic transactional documents under supervision.
- Assist partners and associates with matter preparation and file management.
- Participate in one-to-one mentoring sessions and apply feedback to assignments.
- Support internal training and development activities; contribute to drafting client-facing materials.
