Key Responsibilities
Interns at LOI are given “hands-on” exposure to the core pillars of legal practice:
- Legal Research: Conducting in-depth analysis on International Arbitration, Maritime Law, and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
- Drafting: Assisting in the preparation of Special Leave Petitions (SLPs), Writ Petitions, and Commercial Agreements.
- Court Preparation: Supporting the team for appearances before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and specialized tribunals like the NGT or NCLAT.
- Client Interaction: Attending client briefings and internal strategy meetings under the supervision of senior partners.
- Advisory Support: Helping draft legal opinions on complex regulatory and policy frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria

- Year of Study: Students in their 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated course (or final year of a 3-year course) from reputed law schools.
