Vishrut and Associates is a Delhi-based boutique firm specializing in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and cross-border restructuring. Led by Advocate Vishrut Jain, an alumnus of IICA (Post Graduate Insolvency Programme) and a certified mediator, the firm is highly specialized in managing the technicalities of the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
Unlike traditional law firms, Vishrut and Associates often functions as a Process Advisory team, working directly with Insolvency Professionals (IPs). About Legal Job Opportunity at Vishrut and Associates
- Positions: 1. Associate – Insolvency (IBC): Full-time role for Law/CA/CS professionals. 2. Legal Assessment Intern (Paid): A 6-month pathway for students/freshers to transition into a full-time role.
- Location: Mayur Vihar-1, Delhi (On-site/Offline).
- Stipend/Salary: Internship is Paid; Associate salary is commensurate with IBC-specific experience.
Key Responsibilities
This role is highly technical and requires a deep understanding of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) regulations:
- Support to IPs: Acting as the primary support for Insolvency Professionals in managing the affairs of a Corporate Debtor.
- CoC / SCC Management: Participating in Committee of Creditors (CoC) or Stakeholders’ Consultation Committee (SCC) meetings and drafting formal minutes.
- Claim Verification: Meticulously verifying claims submitted by financial and operational creditors against the company’s records.
- CIRP & Liquidation: Navigating the end-to-end stages of resolution—from the admission of the petition to the final approval of a Resolution Plan or Liquidation order.
- Specialized Cases: Exposure to Pre-Packaged Insolvency (PPIRP) and Personal Guarantor (PG) insolvency cases.
Eligibility Criteria
- Mandatory: Prior experience in IBC matters is required. You must highlight specific CIRP or Liquidation cases you have assisted with in your CV.
- Qualifications: Law Graduates, Chartered Accountants (CA), or Company Secretaries (CS).
- Preference: Candidates who have completed or are pursuing the Post Graduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP) will have a significant edge.
