About Law Assessment Internship Opportunity at LOPM & Associates
LOPM & Associates | Advocates | Legal Consultants, a Litigation and Dispute Resolution law firm founded by Ms. Paromita Majumdar, Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India, invites applications from meritorious law students and recent graduates for an Assessment Internship at its New Delhi office.
The Firm is engaged in a wide spectrum of Litigation and Advisory work and regularly appears before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, other judicial and quasi-judicial fora. The selected candidate shall have the opportunity to assist in matters pertaining to commercial and civil litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, banking and recovery proceedings, as well as other areas of practice handled by the Firm.
Role
The internship shall involve, inter alia, legal research, preparation of case briefs, drafting of pleadings and applications, compilation of records, assistance in ongoing matters, and such other assignments as may be entrusted from time to time. The internship is intended to provide substantive exposure to litigation practice and shall serve as an assessment period for prospective engagement with the Firm, subject to the candidate’s performance and the requirements of the Firm.
Eligibility
Applicants demonstrating sound legal acumen, proficiency in legal research and drafting, attention to detail, and a sincere inclination towards litigation practice are encouraged to apply.
